Marks the object of sentence. If the last syllable of the subject ends with a consonant,
‘을’ is used: otherwise ‘를’ is employed.
Examples:
| 그분은 운동을 좋아해요. | He likes sports. |
Following another particle or a negative word, adds emphasis. Sometimes 을 contracts to‘ㄹ’
Examples:
| 몇 시쯤 집에를 가세요? | About what time do you usually go home? |
| 매일 시장엘 들르십니까? | Do you stop by at the market everyday? |
